Following the deployment of sinking the ships "Lady Thetis" and "Constandis" off the shores of Limassol and the "Nemesis III" in Paralimni in order to form artificial reefs, SEMESCO CO.
Ltd has announced the sinking of another shipwreck "Laboe" off the shores of Paphos. Set to take place on Sunday 22nd June at 11am, the event will be held off a public beach of Yeroskipou Municipality, in front of the restaurant Atlantis.
"With the sinking of the ship Laboe we complete the project undertaken by our company for the provision of services, adequate preparation, cleaning, transportation and dumping of vessels Laboe, Constandis, Lady Thetis and Nemesis III, in order to create artificial reefs under the fisheries Operational Programme 2007-2013," said an announcement on the event.
The event will be held by the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with the Municipality of Yeroskipou, the Paphos Municipality, the Tourism Development and Promotion Company of the Region of Paphos and the Association of Diving Centres of Cyprus and will take place under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment.
